Good day, Dear M. x
I am so sorry to hear your bad experience on our Tri-400 film, There is a rumor around the market, actually the root cause is identified as keeping condition related, if the film experienced hot temperature and high humidity, the toner on backing paper might transfer onto the film and caused the issue as you found. We have further studied the market feedback, and taken remedy action to change the baking paper design so as to make it much more robust than before, that is what we can control and act.
